Reverse with Cheltenham despatch cds in blue (June 7) and London transit in red. Obverse with weak strike of "SHIP LETTER / ♚ / LONDON" in red with the Forwarding Agent's legend deleted in manuscript alongside. A rare cover. Just eight 4 x 2d = 8d Ship Letter frankings recorded in the Karl Louis Card Index.
