1859: Entire letter to Rome, Italy with 1 d. red star, 1858 2 d. blue pl. 7, 1855/57 6 d. lilac and 1 s. green in a horizontal pair all tied by "Liverpool / 466" duplexes (Dec 5) paying the double rate. Calais and Paris transits with "Roma / Via Di Mare" arrival (Dec 12) datestamp on reverse. Minor imperfections but a most attractive and scarce four colour franking.
