1830/59: Pre-stamp and stampless selection of entires/covers (7), with 1830 entire ex Philadelphia struck with straight line "VERA CRUZ" in red to Mexico City; 1833 entire from Mexico to Madrid via Forwarding Agent in London and prepaid "2/2d." with "10Rs." to pay; 1834 cover top France with scarce "FRANCO HAS / TA EL PUERTO" in red; 1835 entire with framed "PUERTO DE / MAZATLAN" in red; 1848 entire with framed "RIO VERDE" in black to Queretaro; 1859 cover from Mexico City to London endorsed "via Havana" with US "Steamship" and both 26 c. and 29 c. rate marks, charged 1/2½ d. on receipt etc. An interesting and generally fine lot.
