1856/62: Santiago printing 10 c. blue, a diagonally bisected example used on 1860 cover from San Felipe to Gers, France, paying the internal rate to Valparaiso and tied by somewhat over-inked circular target obliterator in black. British P.O. in Valparaiso transit on reverse (Aug 3) and thence via London where "GB / 2F 87½" accountancy marking applied and charged "12" décimes due on arrival (Sept 13) in black. Soiling but a scarce usage.
