1896/1926: Group of four covers, including a c1896 2 c. postal stationery wrapper (H&G E2) sent registerd Quito to New York uprated with 1896 1 c. pair, 2 c. and 20 c., some faults; a 1902 10 c. deep blue & black (Scott 148 var) with a De Leon Fire overprint control mark in violet, sent from Guayaquil to Bolivia, interesting and scarce example and also a registered cover dated 1926 franked with 10 c. yellow-green horizontal pair with Locomotive 'Quito-Esmeraldas 1926' overprint in black, sent from Pichincha to New York, has vertical filing crease well clear of adhesive, scarce, an excellent duo.
