Stampless Postal History, 1844/1870, cross-border mail collection, with seventeen covers, written-up on pages, most to New York state, with a variety of exchange offices, including mail carried via Ogdensburg, the Highgate exchange via Lake Champlain, Cape Vincent, an uncommon example via Kingston and Sacket`s Harbour, etc, note attractive 1844 folded letter from Quebec City to New York with fine strike of "PAID AT QUEBEC" crown circle, 1851 cover from Kingston to the President of the Northern Railroad Ogdensburg, redirected to Malone, variety of handstamped and manuscript rate markings, a few small faults, but a chiefly fine group.
