1865/66: Pellas Proofs for the first issue: the imperforate selection (13) with single examples of 5 pa. grey (3), 20 pa., 1 pi., 2 pi. yellow single and horizontal pair, 5 pi. and 10 pi; together with 1 pi. claret in a sheet marginal imprint block of four (positions 139-140/159-160) with pos. 140 showing 'blank flaw' at base; 5 pi. rose in two blocks of four, each marginal from right of sheet and formerly a block of eight showing "PIASTRE 5" marginal inscription, and a block of four of the 10 pi. slate. A scarce group, the positional blocks being rare.
