1880: ½ d. deep green, 1881 1 d. lilac, 1884 ½ d. slate-blue and 1884 2½ d. lilac, used on registered cover, from Bottisham, Cambridge to Nieder Schlesien, Germany, dated 27 May 1884, tied by the '158' Cambridge upright barred oval in black, with a Cambridge transit cds alongside and London registered oval in red (28 May). To reverse a Bottisham cds (27 May) and Burua arrival (30 May) both in black. Part of flap missing and small tear to both sides not affecting the adhesives. A fine and rare example. One of five recorded with this combination franking.
