1884: 5 s. rose, white paper, wmk. anchor, lettered MG, used on commercial large format envelope (277x201mm) in combination with 1887 2½ d. pale purple on blue, sent from London to New Zealand, dated 30 November 1900, tied by Threadneedle Street 'L1' Late Fee duplex in black. Endorsed 'Via San Francisco'. The 5 s. top left corner is missing and there is a small closed tear in west side at top not obvious. The envelope is creased, stained and the top left corner is missing. However, a rare stamp on cover; ten recorded examples known.
