Crimean War 1855: Great Britain 1 d. red-brown, Die I, wmk. Small Crown, perf. 14, a used horizontal strip of three on 1855 cover to Kendal endorsed "via Marseilles", cancelled by "O❊O" obliterators in black. Reverse witth fine "POST OFFICE / BRITISH ARMY" reversed code C datestamp in blue (July 12) applied in Scutari and displaying well on opened flap and both London (July 23) cds in red and Kendal arrival in black. Minor imperfections but an attractive cover.
