1883: De La Rue Die Proof for the 9 d. value, printed in black on glazed white card, showing three faint circular plugs for corner letter placement, dated "13 JUN 83" (altered in manuscript ink to "18") and endorsed BEFORE HARDENING in black. Slightest of bends otherwise fresh and very fine, a rare Proof Gi K25 = £ 2'000.
