1885: 5 fr. carmine on greenish, a single example used on the famous 1889 registered cover to Stadthagen, Germany tied by "MONACO / PRINCIPAUTE" circular datestamp (March 31) with repeated information strike at left and framed "R" in red. One side flap missing and file folds well away from the adhesive, the reverse with "Mars. a Lyon Rapide" cds and "Belfort a Paris" transits (April 1) and Stadthagen arrival cds (April 3).
