Dutch Indies 1864/1945: Cover selection (6) with 1864 10 c. lilac-red imperforate on cover to Samarang tied by framed FRANCO in black with "Soerakarta" cds in red and framed Too Late marking in black at right; 1868 10 c. carmine on cover to Samarang tied by Soerabaja half round datestamp in black; unusual 1946 cover with Japan 10 s. blue block of six and 60 s. orange block of four with local "Repoeblik / Indonesia" optd. ex Djakarta via Batavia to Western Australia; same opt. on Japan 20 s. block of six used from Pekalongan; 1946 10 stationery card used from Jogja to Magelang with glued manuscript "Expres" label; and a further provisional 1946 registered cover to Bireuen. Condition varies but an interesting selection.
