Cape Verde 1877/81: Crown 5 r. black, a single example used on "O Protesto" Newspaper issued in Cape Verde, lightly cancelled by unclear cds in blue over small part of address slip, the Newspaper folded for easier display. The adhesive with small tear at base but a rare and most unusual usage of the Crown issue.
