1862 (June 20): Cover to Purmerende franked with 1856-7 Oscar 2 sk. yellow, 4 sk. blue, and 8 sk. dull lake strip of three, all tied by neatly struck Drammen cds's, boxed "FRANCO" in black, oval Hamburg transit (26 June), reverse with K.D.O.P.A. Hamburg transit (23 June) of the Danish P.O., red receiver (24 June), red "5" in manuscript on front denoting Prussian portion of transit, light wrinkles, a beautiful three-colour franking.
