1868: 5 s. orange (Type B), a single used example in combination with 1890 1½ d. red-brown & green on 1890 OHMS envelope registered to Emil Tamsen in Waterberg, Transvaal tied by circular segmented cork handsstamps (Proud K60) with "ST. HELENA" cds of despatch below (Sept 23) in black. Oval framed "POST OFFICE / ♚ / ST. HELENA" in violet at lower left. A rare and unusual franking, possibly mailing the newly issued 1½ d. in sheets to the dealer Tamsen.
