1880: 1 s. yellow-green, perf. 14 and 1887 3 d. deep mauve, used examples on 1893 cover to His Excellency, The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Stockholm, Sweden tied by segmented cork handstamps in black. "ST. HELENA" circular despatch cds (March 21) in black at left. Manuscript '3' pence in red crayon for British share at left, London transit (April 5) and Stockholm arrival (April 11). A fine and attractive cover paying the under 1 ounce double rate to an unusual destination.
