1939/45: Extensive collection of Finnish field-post beginning with the Winter War 1940/41, continuing through to the end of the war in 1945. It features many interesting items, including covers from and to the army, franchise stamps both as stamps and on documents, covers, and parcel cards. Notable examples of used mail include registered and insured mail. The compilation includes correspondence from the 'Lotta Svärd' organisation and showcases charity labels, as well as foreign volunteers (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and Estonian) who tried to support Finland. Official mail. It specifically features German field-post in Finland and Finnish volunteers in the German army (SS troops). There are propaganda slogans printend on cards and envelopes and humoristic or propagand (picture) postcards; some items are censored, and some bear adapted (reduced) cancels. The items are knowledgeably written up on album pages with explanatory text. In total, there are approximately 390+ items, not counting loose stamps and labels, providing excellent documentation of the wartime period.
