Austrian P.O. 1864: Arms 5 s. rose, 10 s. blue horizontal pair and 15 s. brown, perf. 9½, used on 1868 slightly refolded cover to Marseille at single rate of 40 soldi, all tied by "VARNA / 21 FEB." datestamps in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 884) marked "2" in manuscript as found to be double and struck with "AFFRANCHISEMENT / INSUFFISANT" in black. Strassbourg entry marking in blue (March 4) and charged "20" (décimes) due on arrival. A fine and rare three colour Arms franking.
