1914 (Nov. 9): Registered letter from Vladivostok to Kobe, bearing 1908 20 kop. ultramarine & red-carmine, tied by light strike of oval "VLADIVOST. - TSURUGA / PAROKHOD" Shipmail datestamp of the Russian Volunteer Fleet, an information strike and a matching registration label in Cyrillic alongside, reverse with "KOBE JAPAN" arrival (Nov. 14) cds. Some wrinkles and minor staining on the reverse, nevertheless a desirable registered shipmail cover on the Japanese Sea.
