Israel 1948 Interim  Haifa Messengers Service - 7 items : 1) Cover mailed in Haifa, franked 20 Mil label tied by Cafe Riga boxed cachet. 2) Cover bearing Cafe Riga cachet mailed w/o label to Barclays bank. 3 & 4) 2 different notices to the public announcing  the inauguration of the service & listing the stations. 5) 1951 cover with sheetlet commemeoration the service. 6) 19.3.1948 list of letters received for delivery at the station "Mkor Ha'Safer" . 7) Hand wriiten 9 page draft in English of the forms printed later in Hebrew. Cover with 20mil label with light toning, 2nd cover with centerfold. 1 notice document missing 2 corners. F-VF Rare important & unusual postal history from the 1948 war of independence.
