Auction # 2432 WORLDWIDE + ARGENTINA: Special August auction

Airmail cover franked with 90c. and posted to Argentina on 31/OC/1949 with incomplete address: "Gustavo Rappard, PARTICULAR, BUENOS AIRES", on arrival it could not be delivered despite being analyzed by the OFICINA DE DESCIFRADORES ('Office of Decipherers', see black circular mark on reverse) and it was returned to sender endorsed "DIRECCIÓN DEFICIENTE", "NON RECLAMÉ", etc. In Caracas, the sender added the street and number below the original address: "San Martín No.232", and paid 90c. on 18/MAR/1950 (meter postage at bottom left), with arrival of 27/MAR, very interesting!
