French Offices in Kwangchowan, 1902 (Aug.) envelope to France (20.9) redirected internally (21.9), headed "Corps d'occupation du Tonkin", showing "Regiment d'Artillerie Coloniale du Tonkin/15e Batterie/Quang-Tcheou-Wan/Hoi-Teou/Le Capitaine Commandant" circular h.s. in violet, "Fort Bayard/Indo-Chine Française" c.d.s. (9.8) and "Corps Expedire/Tonkin" circular undated h.s., the envelope a little roughly opened at top, very rare usage from this small garrison of troops at the village of Hoi-Teou, which was west of Fort Bayard.
