Chaotung was liberated on 1949 Dec 8. This is a post-liberation usage example of Silver Yuan.

1950年2月9日雲南昭通寄昆明銀圓封，背面貼東川銀圓郵票4枚，合20分銀圓，符合國內掛號郵資，銷雲南昭通日戳，旁蓋昆明到達戳。昭通於1949年12月8日已解放，此乃解放後沿用銀圓票的例子。
