1916 (28 Nov.) Stampless Cover to Beirut, endorsed "Feldpost", bears the 28-11-1916 Feldpost Bir-es-Seba cds. This item likely represents one of the earliest usages by German forces in Beersheba, reflecting their presence in the region. (This cds was used in Beersheba from October 6, 1916, to November 1, 1917)
