1841 Folded stampless letter with 'Paid Ship Letter Sydney MA 17 1841' red oval pmk & boxed red 'Maitland Post Paid', reverse with 'Maitland Post Office MA 16' & 'General Post Office MA 17 1841', plus 'Ship Letter' all in black. To London with arrival b/s, 1st page missing but still very interesting contents of letter inc a shepherd killed by black men & arrest of bushrangers.
