Philadelphia Company Pennsylvania, 1899, $1,000. 5% 1st Mortgage Collateral Trust Gold Bond. Orange border, natural gas storage tanks on top and Pennsylvania arms on bottom. . ABNCo. Specimen w/coupons, XF. Founded by George Westinghouse in Pittsburgh even though it is called the Philadelphia Company. Its assets included the company's charter rights (which allowed it to compete against the natural gas monopoly at the time in Pittsburgh), patents on several Westinghouse inventions, and the Westinghouse gas field as well as several others that had previously been acquired. Rare and historic bond from George Westinghouse founded company.
