Switzerland, c.1898 Second Zionist Congress Bronze Medal. Second Zionist Congress, Bronze Medal, c. 1898, 59mm. An important medal designed by Samuel Beer, a Czech Jewish sculptor who was a friend of Herzl. Hebrew inscription: "Behold I will take the people of Israel from the nations and bring them to their own land." Nice early cast copy with good details.
