Julia Domna, wife of Septimius Severus, AD 193-211. AE Sestertius (24.4g), minted at Rome, AD 211. Draped bust right of Julia Domna. Reverse Juno standing left, holding patera and scepter; at feet, peacock. RIC 584; BMC 206. Pleasing, glossy, dark brown patina with some smoothing in the fields; generally quite attractive. Very Fine.
