1787 Connecticut Miller 6.1-M Rarity-1 The "Laughing Head" variety VF35. Mailed Bust Left. Choice lustrous medium brown and light chocolate. A sharp, beautiful example. The only defect is a shallow planchet lamination at the dentils off the bust tip, as struck. Struck very slightly off center to K-2.5 but none of the devices is affected. A premium example of this very popular "Redbook" variety, and it could easily justify a higher grade. Weight 109.3 grains. Listed on page 61 in the "Redbook."
