lot # 424 - united states draped bust cents
1804 S-266b R5 ANACS graded VG Details, Cleaned. Glossy medium chocolate brown and steel with slightly lighter highpoints from a delicate cleaning. The surfaces are smooth except for traces of very light roughness at the top of the reverse. A dent in the center of the obverse created a minor bulge in the center of the reverse causing extra wear on EN in CENT. The date and legends are complete and easily readable although a couple letters are weak. Rare M-LDS, Breen state III, with a cud break at RTY but no cud at MERIC. Our grade is VG7 sharpness net G5. A decent low-grade 1804 cent in spite of the minor dent. The attribution is shown on the ANACS label.
Estimated Value $1,500-UP.
