Tiberius, AD 14-37. Silver Denarius (4.73g). Lugdunum, AD 15-16. Lauareate head of Tiberius facing right. Reverse: PONTIF MAXIM, female figure (Livia?) seated right, holds inverted spear, and branch; the chair legs ornamented and a triple line below. RIC 28; BMC 45. Legends complete on both sides. Lustrous surfaces and lightly toned. Extremely Fine.
