Australian Defence Canteens Service 2/- Canteen Order issued to VX 40956 Pte VE Clayton at Castlemaine, VIC 24 Dec 1941 F. Victor Ernest Clayton was a POW & died of illness 17 Nov 1943 while working on the Thai-Burma Railway. His name is on the memorial at Thanbyuzayat War Cemetery Myanmar (Burma). Rare. (P)
