Pre-Philately 1842: Rare registered letter from Ibarra to Quito, featuring manuscript 'Certificacion Ibarra De Oficio' and a red 'IBARRA FRANCA' marking. The paper is slightly reduced but still effectively showcases the attributes of registration. Registered mail from the pre-philatelic period is very rare.
