1926: Inauguration of Port Fouad, the set of four values used, all cancelled on first day (Dec 21) at Port Fouad Post Office, the low values heavily cancelled, just 1'520 sets issued, the rare 50 pi. purple with cert. RPSL (2013) Gi = £ 2'250.
Note: The certificate states 'stained in top margin' which, in this describer's opinion is unfounded. Given that three people died in the stampede towards the Post Office on December 21, 1926 it...

1929 (Feb 11): Prince's Ninth Birthday, Special Printing set of four values with 5 m. vignette in black and balance in brown, fine used. Just 2'000 sets printed thus Nile Post = C29c/C32c = $ 400+/Gi 178a/181a = £ 560.

1934: (Feb 1): UPU Congress, Cairo; Farouk Imperforates - the complete set of 14 values, underprinted "Cancelled", fresh and very fine. An extremely rare set with just 50 complete sets possible Nile Post C47a/C60a = $ 2'000+.

1936/37: Fuad 5 m. deep brown, an unused horizontal strip of four showing variety "Tête-Bêche", fresh and fine, unmounted og., and matching horizontal strip of four divided by interpanneau gutter margin showing variety "Tête-Bêche", fresh and fine, unmounted og. 1937/44: Boy King 6 m. yellow-green, Farouk Imperforate block of twelve stamps (6 x 2) with sheet margins on three sides, emanating from the Booklet pane sheets, of superb colour, underprinted "Cancelled" upright on reverse.
