60 reis black, Early Impression, a fine four margined example with tiny part of vertical frame line at upper right, used on 1845 cover from Rio de Janeiro to Sorocaba tied by "CORREIO GERAL DA CORTE" circular datestamp (Dec 22) in black. Slightest of vertical file folds just touch the adhesive and small stain to cover at base do not detract. Illustrated in Juchert "Bull's Eyes on Covers" on page 112. A fine and scarce cover. Cert.
