1869 Grills 15c landing of Columbus type I, unused strip of 3 with part original gum, fresh and rich colours, off centre as usual. This strip of 3 is of exceptional varity. The largest known type I black is a block of 9, with one block of 6 and three blocks of 4 recorded. A horizontal strip of 4 is the largest strip known and sold for $15,500 at Siegel in 2013.
