1849 (Jan 1): Cérès 20 c. black on yellowish paper, four large margins, used on 1849 entire letter endorsed 'Franco' and internally dated 'Janvier 3, 1849', tied by 'PARIS / (60)' datestamp (Type 15) struck in blue (Jan 3) with repeated information strike at left. Reverse with some mathematical docketing and fine 'L'Argentiere' (Ardeche) arrival cds in black (Jan 6). Slightly soiled but an extremely rare and early usage: the adhesive used on third day of issue. Signed L. Miro. Certs. Oumet (1993), Brun (2014) Maury = € 28'000.
