1855-1898 "The Stamps of Spanish Cuba" - The description by the late British expert Brian Moorhouse about this wonderful collection: "A Great Collection of Spanish Period" in a stockbook from first issues to 1898, mint and/or used incl. many multiples with blocks of four, larger some with pen cancels, duplication in places but good range of issues, scarcer stamps incl. "Y ¼" surcharges, HABILITADO overprints, mint or unused 1870 5c blue (2), 1873 1p brown, 1874 1p carmine (3), etc. etc. plus good lot of surcharged types, 1898 set in mint blocks of four etc., about 2600 stamps. High catalogue value.
