1899 Destination ORANGE FREE STATE: Postal stationery card 1a. on 1½a. used from Calcutta to Dewetsdorp, Orange Free State via Durban, and re-directed to Ventersburg, written by a German on his travel Zanzibar (invited by Sultan Sayyid Sir Hamoud bin Mohammed Al-Said)-Bombay-Calcutta-Darjeeling, with respective datestamps of Calcutta, Durban, Dewetsdorp, Bloemfontein and Ventersburg. The card with a center fold incl. short tear at top but still good. A very unusual mail to Orange Free State.
