Interesting pre-paid folded letter sent from Constantinopel on 31/10/1860 by the new Dutch consul in Turkey to the Dutch Vice Consul in Adrianople (Edirne) informing him that he has been appointed new Consul in Turkey. Using C1 postmark and black "FRANCO" postal seal, on the back handwritten payment note "3-" together arrival postmark C1 applied on 2/11/1860. Letter sealed with red wax with consular seal. INTERESTING.
