Recess by Perkins Bacon 1851/55: Perkins Bacon (1 d.) brick-red on blued paper, a used example with good margins all round used on 1857 cover and part back to St. Lucia tied by "1" numeral of Port of Spain in black. Manuscript '4' (pence) due at left; reverse with 'Trinidad' double arc and single ring datestamp (May 10) and double arc St. Lucia arrival cds (May 13): Faults but a scarce usage.
