Colonial 1812 (Nov 23): Registered cover prepaid from Lima to Trujillo with obverse surrounded by thirteen # to denote registration, manuscript "Sale Nov.e 23/812" and "Certificado" at left, struck with fine "FRANCA" and "CERTIFICACION / A LIMA" both in red (Tizón figs. 18+19). Notation of weight (1¾ ounces) on reverse and charged '20' reales in manuscript. Repaired closed tear in address panel but rare.rnProvenance: Collection Fernando  Camino.
