Mauritius used in Seychelles 1863/72: Mauritius 2 d. pale blue, two examples used on 1870 cover addressed to Sir Henry Barkly, Governor of Mauritius carried at inter-island rate tied by two bold strikes of "B64" numeral obliterator in black. Carried by French steamer "Mozambique" from Mahé via Réunion. Reverse with SEYCHELLES despatch cds (Jan 12) and Mauritius arrival cds (Jan 21) in blue. Part of top flap missing but a rare and most appealing cover.
