Mexico City 1861: ½ r. black on brown, the magnificent marginal strip of six showing the sheet margins at both sides, used on cover front from Mexico City to Durango neatly tied by six strikes of the circular network handstamp (Schatzkes fig. 827) in black with "Correos / Mexico" oval datestamp below. The front adhered to backing otherwise superb and of great rarity. Certs.
