90 reis black, Early Impression, a used horizontal strip of three, all three single stamps rejoined by hinges, close to large margins all round and vertical creased between the adhesives in margin only, all cancelled by bold strikes of circular "CORREIO GERAL DA CORTE" datestamp (5 August 1843) in black. The earliest recorded multiple usage of the 90 reis adhesive. Photograph of the cover the stamps were erroneously lifted from accompanies the lot. Rare. Cert. Moorhouse (2013).
