By: Corinphila Auction AG
lot # 10084 - brasilien
90 reis grey-black, Intermediate Impression in thin greyish paper, First Composite Plate, State D (position 3), a "Semi-Xifopagus" used example showing the horizontal frame line, dividing line (4 mm.) and part of the marginal line to the 60 reis frame above, large margins on the other three sides, neatly cancelled by neat "CORREIO GERRAL DA CORTE" datestamp in black. An outstanding and rare stamp: believed to be the nearest example to a "Xifopagus / Pack" interpanneau 60 + 90 reis stamp known.
