Incoming Mail 1853: 20 c. blue, four examples in a rich shade with generally fine margins, used on small 1858 envelope at single rate from Paris to a Naval Lieutenant on board the "Aleeste, Station Brésil" with Paris despatch cds below (June 5) and framed 'P.P.' in red. Carried via London (June 6) with red cds and thence on Royal Mail Steam Packet Co. "Avon" to Rio de Janeiro. A charming and very scarce cover.
