First London Printing from Perkins Bacon plates 1853 (July): 10 c. deep bright-blue on yellowish paper, a vertical strip of thee with large margins at top and base but touched in places on both sides, used on 1854 cover to Valparaiso (refolded at left), tied by three clear black "target" handstamps with "SANTIAGO" despatch cds in red (Febr. 3). A rare multiple on cover with just one further strip of three being recorded.
