French Post Offices in Chile 1867: Napoleon, 30 c. brown, with 1871 Cérès 25 c. blue, single and vertical strip of three, used on cover front, from Valparaiso to Paris, dated 16 August 1872, tied by French Post Office abroad dotted star, with "VALPARAISO PAQ.F../ 16 AOUT 72", carried on the "Ville de St. Nazaire" which replaced "Ville de Bordeaux" which was due to leave the day before on 15 August, but was damaged by a violent storm that occurred on 10 August 1872 in the port Valparaiso, 30 c. has corner fault, scarce cover and interesting story.
